The Socket Saver is sold as a kit complete with hold down screws and spacers. You can easily install these on your MaxiMatcher by threading the screws provided in the kit in place of the socket mount screws in the top deck.

The Socket Saver can extend the life of the test sockets on your MaxiMatcher.
This adapter is installed via simple hardware into each socket of your MaxiMatcher. The Socket Saver then takes all the wear of inserting and extracting tubes from the MaxiMatcher. If the Socket Saver becomes worn, simply replace the Socket Saver instead of wearing out your MaxiMatcher test sockets. A set of Socket Savers is strongly recommended for tube resellers or audio enthusiasts who are testing hundreds or thousands of tubes.
